Thirty years ago I was young, strong, with a ‘farm girl’ or ‘tomboy’ personality. At this time in my life I was working on the thoroughbred racetrack – working as a stablehand and groomer for horses. I worked 6 days a week and 12 to 20 hours a day and for $600.00 a month. One day I was talking to my brother who was driving truck and he was working the same amount of days and hours and making $3000.00 a month and I said to myself, “WHOA!” Something has to change …and I started looking for a job learning to drive truck. Finally, an older (much older) man said he would ‘train’ me to drive and I was happy, naieve, young, stupid, trusting ….

On the third trip out and back ( and he had done no ‘training’ yet….he stopped about 10 miles of the city…it was -40 below….and made it very clear that if I did not have sex…I would be walking back to the city.

So, I felt I had to give in and let him ‘fuc*’ me…so that I could get back to the city without freezing to death walking back to the city at 2 am.

He called the next day and told me that he would ‘train’ me to drive truck if I wanted to come along with him….so….I did go with him again…and yes…I did get to drive…but I also had to have sex with him again.

I understand that many people will say that I did not have to do this….that I could have called the police…Well back than I was young and had been brought up by my grandmother and did not understand that what this man was doing to me was wrong.
